Pilates Place in Lexington, Kentucky was founded in 2003 by Ruth Ann Maddocks, a Registered Nurse and a fully certified STOTT PILATES™ instructor. Since then, Pilates Place has become a pillar in the Lexington community, and has built a reputation for excellence, offering high-quality Pilates instruction in a warm and welcoming environment. We take pride in being a trusted resource for those seeking to improve their health through movement.
 For over 20 years, Pilates Place has been dedicated to providing exceptional Pilates programs that help our clients achieve their fitness goals, restore their bodies, and find balance in their lives. Our mission is to help each client build on their existing abilities in order to increase strength, improve flexibility and balance, and develop a deeper mind-body connection.

RuthAnn Maddocks
Ruth Ann Maddocks is the founder of Pilates Place. She is a registered nurse and a fully-certified STOTT PILATES™ instructor. She started Pilates Place in 2003, with a commitment to offering high-integrity Pilates programs and services. Her mission is to help others achieve optimal holistic wellness. 

Judy Strosnider
Judy Strosnider holds Bachelor degrees in psychology and occupational therapy. Her Pilates certification is through Professional Health and Fitness Institute. She specializes in providing rehabilitative exercise to clients

Heather Jones Ring
Heather began practicing Pilates in 2011 and loves the way it helps balance her physically and mentally.  She has been a student at Pilates Place since 2017.  Heather received comprehensive PEI accredited Pilates training in Bowling Green KY.  Heather believes that no matter your starting fitness level, every Body can benefit from Pilates.  She meets clients where they are each day with positivity and encouragement.   Heather teaches group Pilates and accepts private and semi-private appointments.

Kelly Flood

Rev. Kelly Flood specializes in Pilates for Beginners. Kelly teaches how the Pilates method utilizes mind, body and breath to stabilize one’s core and increase overall flexibility. Clients of all ages are invited to learn the healing benefits of Pilates principles, movements and techniques.
